This is another amazing disc by Ace Records that highlights the songwriting of Carole King and Gerry Goffin. The engineering & sound reproduction make this set sound fresh. The Righteous Brothers' title track is an epic recording arranged by Jack Nitzsche and produced by Phil Spector with his "wall of sound" trademark/5(13).

Mar 17,  · The achingly vulnerable “Crying” was co-written by Carole King and Howard Greenfield, moonlighting from their respective partners Gerry Goffin and Neil Sedaka. In addition to King, Adler also met P.F. Sloan and Steve Barri at Aldon, pairing the two songwriters up and soon snatching them away from Kirshner’s empire to his newly-formed.

As with the Something Good CD, this CD also is a nice presentation of rare songs that many people would not attribute to Goffin & King, and different cuts of songs that have all been heard before. A nice CD for the die-hard RNR fans of that time period. If you like Gerry Goffin and Carole King, you need to have both CDs in your library/5(18).
